Establishing your own website and selling products or services as an eCommerce store is another great way to make money online. I have a friend who buys second hand cowboy boots from Texas and sells them on his website as fashionable boots. He cleans them up a bit, puts a huge mark up on them and sells them online. (One small disadvantage to this is that his garage and house is full of cowboy boots!)
Google Advertising
If you have your own site or blog you can make money from Banner Advertising or Google adsense. Other companies will pay you a commission for any business that you direct to them. Creating a sustainable adsense website business can be quite straightforward and very profitable.

If you are passionate and knowledgeable about something – why not write and sell an eBook! You would be surprised at what other people are interested in. Use your knowledge and ability to your advantage. Think of a website as a piece of virtual real estate or a business- you start something (your own small business) and after it becomes successful you sell it for a profit. Many people do this with domain names and operational websites or even money making blogs at flippa.com.
A lot of the ways that we have looked at above are great because they work for you while you are not there – you have programmed a machine and left it to do the work. Once you have your affiliate site up and running and given it some basic promotion (like a youtube video or some social bookmarking) you can just leave it to tick away and generate income.
